KVLtv is me, and I latched onto the moniker when a friend of mine once misread my initials many years ago. I'm a 47 year old boy, and I live just to the north of Wilmington, NC, USA. I am remarried, and my beautiful wife consented to marry me when I proposed to her on May 4th, 2008. She then became Mrs. KVLtv on November 8th, 2008. Oddly enough, she and I had known each other in high school. I had actually even taken her out on one date back then. This is her second marriage too, so I am blessed by the inclusion of two strapping young step-sons and two beautiful step-daughters with this recent enlargement of my family. This makes me a father of two darling young children (both girls) from my previous marriage, and a step-father to the four wonderful children that marrying my sweet wife brought into my life. I also have another daughter that I have had no contact with, sadly. I love being a father/step-father and I enjoy spending time with my kids.

  Like most parents, I am really proud of my children, and now I have more wonderful kids to take pride in. My step-sons are both young adults, so they have gone their own way and currently live in California. My step-daughters are both living here with us. Our eldest is a college student, doing well in school, and she is also holding down a retail position to cover her incidentals. As far as I can tell, her main interest is boys. My other step-daughter is doing well in high school. She is an incredibly talented artist, and a wonderful vocalist. Her main interests are video games, Manga, and music. My own eldest daughter continues to excel in school. Her favorite all time topic, thing, or whatever, is the Kingdom Hearts video game. My youngest is also an Honor Roll Student, and she spends a lot of her time playing video games too; she also enjoys riding her bike, watching Anime and reading. She's my messy child, but I adore her. She's much more apt to spend time with me than any of the others, and I enjoy her company very much. They all get along well and are helpful to one another, and they help around the house too. Unfortunately I have not kept up with taking pictures, or maintaining the gallery. Hopefully I will get around to making updates, but I'm not promising anything.

  My hobbies are art, music and video. Fortunately many of my hobbies are related and I am able to do at least some aspect of each on the computer. I enjoy messing around on computers quite a bit too. In fact, goofing off on my computer could be considered my primary hobby.

  I love playing online games and I play them with a person that I've been happy to call my friend for over twenty-five years. I used to be heavily involved with a game that Bungie had released in 1997 called Myth. Before Halo, Bungie was best known for the Myth series which eventually became the property of Take2. I really used to enjoy editing levels for Myth and Myth II back then. A multiplayer level that I created for Myth II was once even published by Bungie on a release named "The Total Codex"; which is no longer available. I don't play Myth much anymore and, even though I do have it, I haven't played Myth III more than a few times. The game I play the most now is World of Warcraft and I can also be found playing UT2004, or FlatOut 2 online every once in a while.

  I have spent a good deal of time creating graphics, or repairing pictures, over the years. I have done a few illustrations, but not many, and most of my artwork is created for the specific projects I work on from time to time. There are a few examples of the artwork that I've generated in the gallery section. Though more often than not these days, I primarily use Photoshop in the attempt to correct the miserable job my digital camera does taking pictures. I'm not as good at Image correction as I'd like, but you can see an example of what I'm up against. Oddly enough, even though I spend a lot of time generating images on the computer, artwork is not my real passion.

  Ever since I was a little kid making tapes on my father's stereo I've been fascinated with recording. As I grew older I began to become just as interested in creating the content. Although I have to confess that I don't play much anymore, I currently play the guitar in it's various forms and I've written several songs which I've recorded. Thanks to the computer, I'm now able to get much better recordings and a few examples can be found in the music section of this site.

  I have traveled quite a bit during my life and I've lived in many places, including Europe. For the time being I have settled here in North Carolina, though I'm not originally from here. I also must confess that am not really close to anyone in this area, as most of my good friends live hundreds of miles away and some even more than that. Nonetheless, I love it here in North Carolina. My family and I live close to the beach and we reside in a beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood.

  In some ways I've done well and in others I've had a rough time. I suppose in that regard I'm pretty much like most everyone else. I've had my joys and my setbacks. Each day is a new adventure and I'm happy to have had the opportunities I've had and I am fortunate to have known a wide variety of wonderful people. For the most part these days I have become a homebody and that's fine with me too. I'm usually not too far from my computer, so if you want to you can always write me.
