KVLtv refers to me and I latched onto the moniker when a friend of mine once misread my initials many years ago. I'm a 45 year old boy and I live just to the north of Wilmington, NC, USA. I am a newlywed and a father of two wonderful young children (both girls) from my previous marriage. I traded cool for practical: I sold my '66 Pontiac convertible and now I drive a mini van. I love being a father and I enjoy spending time with my kids. You can see some pictures of me here.

  Yes, you read correctly, a newlywed. My beautiful wife consented to marry me when I proposed to her on May 4th, 2008. She then became Mrs. KVLtv on November 8th, 2008. Oddly enough, she and I had known each other in High School. I had actually even taken her out on a date back then. This is Dawn's second marriage too, so I am blessed by the inclusion of two strapping young step-sons and two beautiful step-daughters with this recent enlargement of my family.

  Like most parents, I am really proud of my children, and now I have more wonderful kids to take pride in. My step-sons are both young adults, so they have gone their own way and currently live in California. My step-daughters are both in High School, and are excellent students. Laura is my eldest and she continues to be an Honor Roll student. Her favorite things are reading, writing, playing video games and watching Anime. She loves the Warriors books, Harry Potter, the Twilight series and also enjoys reading survival adventure stories too. Other favorites include Naruto, Wolf's Rain, Death Note, Inu-Yasha, Pokemon, Avril Lavigne, Spore PC video game, Kingdom Hearts video games, Sonic the Hedgehog video games and her favorite animal is the fox. She's very organized and she helps me out around the house. My youngest is Caroline and she is an Honor Roll Student too. She spends a lot of her time playing video games too; she also enjoys riding her bike, archery, watching Anime and reading; she loves YouTube, Inu-Yasha, Pokemon, SpongeBob Squarepants, and her dolls; plus her favorite animal is currently the wolf. She's my messy child, but I adore her. She's much more apt to spend time with me than Laura is and I enjoy her company very much. Caroline is also very helpful, as are my step-daughters, so I am very fortunate. There are many pictures of Laura and Caroline in the gallery section.

  My hobbies are art, music and video. Fortunately many of my hobbies are related and I am able to do at least some aspect of each on the computer. I'm an avid Mac user, but I also own a PC. I mostly just use the PC for games though. I enjoy messing around on computers quite a bit too. In fact, goofing off on my computers could be considered my primary hobby.

  I love playing online games and I play them with a person that I've been happy to call my friend for over twenty years. I used to be heavily involved with a game that Bungie had released in 1997 called Myth. Before Halo, Bungie was best known for the Myth series which eventually became the property of Take2. I really used to enjoy editing levels for Myth and Myth II and a multiplayer level that I created for Myth II was once even published by Bungie on a release named "The Total Codex"; which is no longer available. I don't play Myth much anymore and, even though I do have it, I haven't played Myth III more than a few times. The game I play the most now is World of Warcraft and I can also be found playing UT2004, or FlatOut 2 online every once in a while.

  I have spent a good deal of time creating graphics, or repairing pictures, over the years. I have done a few illustrations, but not many, and most of my artwork is created for the specific projects I work on from time to time. There are a few examples of the artwork that I've generated in the gallery section. Though more often than not these days I primarily use Photoshop in the attempt to correct the miserable job my digital camera does taking pictures. I'm not as good at Image correction as I'd like, but you can see an example of what I'm up against. Oddly enough, even though I spend a lot of time generating images on the computer, artwork is not my real passion.

  Ever since I was a little kid making tapes on my father's stereo I've been fascinated with recording. As I grew older I began to become just as interested in creating the content. Although I have to confess that I don't play much anymore, I currently play the guitar in it's various forms and I've written several songs which I've recorded. Thanks to the computer, I'm now able to get much better recordings and a few examples can be found in the music section of this site.

  I have traveled quite a bit during my life and I've lived in many places, including Europe. For the time being I have settled here in North Carolina, though I'm not originally from here. I must confess that am not really close to anyone in this area, as most of my good friends live hundreds of miles away and some even more than that. Nonetheless, I love it here in North Carolina. My girls and I live close to the beach and we reside in a beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood.

  In some ways I've done well and in others I've had a rough time. I suppose in that regard I'm pretty much like most everyone else. I've had my joys and my setbacks. Each day is a new adventure and I'm happy to have had the opportunities I've had and I am fortunate to have known a wide variety of wonderful people. For the most part these days I have become a homebody and that's fine with me too. I'm usually not too far from my computer, so if you want to you can always write me.
