I've done a couple of illustrations that weren't directly related to video games, but were associated with games nonetheless and one was ultimately used on a gaming website. The first illustration shown was done on a whim. I ended up using it on the website I had created for the Myth gaming Order that I belonged to. We were basically a group of older players, ranging from 30 to 65 years old and that was nearly a decade ago, so we named it the Old Warrior's Legion, or OWL. Hence the old campaign warrior in the illustration.

The second illustration shown was done as part of a crazy idea I had during my short stint playing Dungeons and Dragons. The idea was a world in a supposed post apocalyptic time where skateboards made before the cataclysm were often used to traverse the concrete ruins of civilization, but otherwise technology had reverted to the middle ages. The idea didn't go over as well as I would have liked and I only ever was "Dungeon Master" once. The drawing represents a character from that world.

Another area where I have done a lot of art is, or I should say "was", for screen printing. The next two images were T-Shirt designs that I had developed for a skateboard park. The deal was that I was supposed to have unlimited free access to the skatepark, but otherwise the work was done for free. To my dismay, the skatepark owner interpreted "unlimited free access" as being a period of only one year. Actually, I think it was less than that. Needless to say, but I wasn't too happy about the overall transaction. I didn't make anything, but he made money on the deal, so I discovered that Freelance meant getting lanced and end up having done the work for free.

As you might have guessed, I used to be an avid skateboarder. My favorite boards were Dog Town Skates. For many years I had wanted my own logo on one of my boards, so I created my own version of the basic Dog Town logo. Then I used the graphic to customize my Dog Town skateboard. Then I also did a T-Shirt with the same graphic on the back and the black and white Dog Town graphic was used for the front left chest print.

The Grateful Dead logo was something I had messed around with in 1986. It reads, "'87", but that was because I had developed it late in 1986 and I knew that if I were to use it I had to think ahead. The lettering on the banner was inspired by someone else's design and can be read both rite side up and upside down. There are some less than amusing stories associated with the design, but it's one of those "you had to be there" things and trust me, you didn't want to be there.

My brother once doctored a picture of Darth Vader to have my face on it. I thought it was pretty funny. I've modified the picture a little and updated it with a more recent photo of myself.
The next page contains a mishmash of the graphics I've created on the computer. There are a couple of logos and some game related images. I've also included some of the wallpapers and icons I've generated through the years. Of course, there's still time to save yourself.
